07/19/2006: "My Green Thumb"

My garden update: I have been happily eating ripe cherry tomatoes for a week now. The rugular tomatoes are huge and turning red. Even the green ones are yummy fried up for eggs benedict (somethign we tried in New Orleans)! My basil looks poor, but tastes yummy with the cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzerella, and Pensy's 4-S salt. I have been having a ball and eating great! Everything always tastes better when you grow it yourself! My jalapenos are ready too, so I will be having my salsa very soon! I can't wait!

Mary, Mary quite contrary, how does your garden grow? Sounds like yours is growing great. After all you have had going on this week it is good you have some nice tomatoes to eat. They look yummy. Love Nana
