07/20/2006: "They won again..."

“Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday.”

Last night Kam's team won again. They play tonight for the championship. They play the team the beat last night so hopefully they will take it all.

He has done so well this year. He has hit, pitched, and played first base and done them all very good. But more important, he has made some very good friends and has had a great time! I'm so proud of you, Hooch. I hope all of your summers are this good. Love ya, Nana
