08/06/2006: "New Room"

Aunt Kimmy i need your help... or anyones ideas would be very helpful. i am redoing my room and i would really like to do the surfer type thing or the hula girl theme . i was thinking of colors such as light pink and lightn orange. but im need some ideas. i am doin this before christmas for some christmas ideas for u all to. if u have any ideas comment or call me or my mom. 7787063-me or 7042019074-mom

If Aunt Kimmie can't come up with some things, noone can, but she will have some cool ideas. Too bad she is so darn busy with school or she would have the whole thing planned out. Karen had some great ideas too. Your mom is no slouch when it comes to decorating either. Good luck. Love you, Nana

I will be thinking of some cool ideas and hopefully bring them with me when i come move Erin. I can give them to you or your mom. I love the pink and orange color idea!! Seashells are big with the surfer idea... i will see you next week!

I would go surfer- I'll send you a picture of a cool head board (surf board- looks easy to make with plywood) Also you could get pictures of Myrtle Beach for your walls, the light blue (tar heels) of the ocean goes wih orange or pink.You can use bamboo curtins, shells from the beach- personal touch! Pottery Barn has some cool accessories on sale right now (sign pointing to beach, shells, baskets- lots of summer beach stuff, really cute). Maybe instead of limiting to surfer or hula, stick with beach (common element) and go water theme- very calming.
