08/26/2006: "A bunch of interesting creatures..."

“I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now;
let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.”

I went outside to cut some fresh basil and parsley. Here is my parsley plant-gone and the reason why. They say Monarch Butterflies eat parsley-I hope it is a pretty one.
Then as I went to cut the basil I thought there was a rock in the dirt-WRONG- it is Mr. Toad. He always came out when there was water. I wondered where he lived, now I know.

All the little creatures of the world are amazing. These are the things we need to teach the children of the world... much more interesting than tv or video games... at least I think so. But then again I always liked bugs, frogs and toads.
