09/10/2006: "Mattie update..."

Yesterday was our first game of league season.. and i mite say my team didnt play how we normally do.. we tied the game but we did not play well at all. i came out of the game rite before half after getting slamed in the head with the ball and my coaches words were"u look like a drunken sailor" i was very dizzy and couldnt walk straight. it still hurts but i am very excited to play next weekend. we have to go to raliegh and play the #1 ranked team in the state us being number 4 and also we play the number 6 team in the state it should be a very competitive weekend!! WISH ME LUCK!

I still want you to see a doctor and make sure you are ok. You are too precious to take a chance with. I also hope you kick butt in Raleigh. Keep all of us posted because we care and want ot know how you did. Love you Nana
