09/16/2006: "Please Keep David's Family in your Prayers"

We just found out today that David's Uncle Rafael (Raffa) was found in the hospital. He is in a coma and is not expected to come out of it. David is very upset because he loved his uncle and always did anything he could for him. He just wishes he could have seen him one more time. I told him that his uncle knows he loves him and he knows that David always tried to see him. In fact, David tried to see him when we drove up to NYC to fly to DR, but no one knew where he was. He was having heart problems for a while and we think it must be part of this but we still don't have the details.

Please keep Raffa and David in your prayers. We do not know if or when they will take him off life support, so the pain for the family is only just beginning. Keep them in your thoughts.

David - our prayers are with you down here too. Keep your faith strong and the lord will show the way - I really believe that. It doesn't ease the pain but it does bring some peace. Love ya the ones in NC

David and Erin- sorry to hear that you are dealing with this. It is always difficult accepting that people may die. Rely on the prayers of others, hold tight to what is important, and be glad you are together. Have faith and know that if it is time- although we don't always understand, we have memories that will be there long after the person is gone. Thinking of you both and have you in our prayers.

David and Erin, Just keep praying and have faith in the Lord that He will take care of your uncle. He will give all of you the strength that you need to get thru this trying time. I wish I could hug both of you and in my heart I am. Love, Nana
