09/18/2006: "Yes...this early..."

I got the flu. It's already going around school. I wash my table and desks with Clorax wipes, I have anti-bacteria hand cleanser in my room and I still got it. Fever, headache, sore throat and just plain yucky feeling. It cost me $30.00 co-pay for dr and $10.00 for antibiotic- do you know what I could have spent that on? Anyway- shots aren't out yet but I will get one when they do come out. In the meantime...some tips to stay healthy.

Hope you are feeling better. It stinks to get sick so early. I told David to watch it because he can't bring it home to me - I have no insurance. Feel better!

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. I'm not either. Delaney had a birthday party on Saturday and her friend Catherine got sick and I happened to be there with paper towels in my hand, so I tried to catch it. And I think I might have caught a little of it. However, I actually started feeling lousy on Friday, so that could have been what pushed me over. Oh well, until I actually hurl- I'm going to work. You get rest and get yourself back on track!! We got your message, but had to take advantage of the 80 degree days and get our pool closed up and our outdoor things put away. Winter is coming!
