09/20/2006: "The Bailey's......."

Well Kay and Karen you aren't alone.....been sick myself since Sunday...WAY TO EARLY FOR THIS crap...on day four and feeling worse every day and nothing seems to help. The girls are busy with school and their games. They have a game Saturday at home at 11 if anyone wants to come watch one of two Saturday games. Next one is October 14th Kay at Bishop Kearney hope you and Delaney can make it would mean the world to the girls. They are each getting a little more play time finally! Nick is busy working and working and working.....hard to believe he will be 20 next month where did it go?!

New job is going well.....of course Sarah said last night how can you get sick you work in a hospital?! Well beats me other than the office has no windows and very poor air circulation very dry and warm so think it will be a long winter. The benefits are best I have ever had, pay is so so but it's a check. Now looking for a part time job but not having much luck so far. Oh well that is life in the Bailey house.

Thanks Kris I am and that is my plan.....

Ended up having to go to Emplyoee Health today as I couldn't take any more. My glands in my throat are all swollen bad, ear infection, mild temp, pounding head can't breath and would love to just drop....so they sent me home. Guess working all week sick wasn't smart but what are you going to do. They don't allow more than 6 days off and only being there a full month today didn't want to but this is out of my hands......oh well.....two days to rest up.....

Glad job is going well but congrats on the job - get the experience and take advantage of the training and education you can get because you will definitely get a job here in Charlotte - even Matthews has a hospital in it! Think big girl think big!!

I agree- way to early and I felt worse each day and it semed to let up on day 6. I was able to go back to work (2 days off and in bed)not 100% but I can work. I armed myself with clorax wipes and antibacterial soap oh and lots of water.
Sometimes the places you think are safest- have the mose germs- after all, hospitals have sick people!
Wish I could see the girls play- I bet they kick some a#@!
Love you all!
