11/29/2006: "Why playing bumper cars is not a good idea..."

IMG_0187 (66k image)

Okay, so this is how my ride home turned out. I rear-ended someone. It was my fault, but it really SUCKED! This is my first accident. I was talking to my mom using my earpiece and looking for signs for my upcoming highway change. Well, recently I have found that my "night vision" is not so hot... by the time I looked up, I saw the car and it was too late. I slammed on the breaks and skid right into the back of them. Let me tell you... not a fun experience. My car is in need of major work and I need to call the insurance tomorrow and get it looked it. David thinks they will total it. I am so bummed... I'm such a dumb-ass, but thankful to be alive. Updates to come soon.

I repeat your mom's sentiments- glad YOU are ok! A car is a thing and can be fixed- you however are unique and can't be replaced. All is good.

I am thankful that you are alive and well. Cars can be replaced... you cannot. I love you and be safe.
