12/05/2006: "Cool Idea from Xerox (thanks Kay)..."

Something cool that Xerox is doing.
If you go to this web site, Let's Say Thanks you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether y ou are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them ...

I sent several and sent them out to every teacher in my 2 schools for every student to send during computer lab-that would be about 1000 cards. I then put it in my parent newsletter on the topic of "caring" and now here- it is lonely when you are away, worse still when you are at war- please do this, it will make you feel better and someone else too!
