12/14/2006: "What a Great day!"

Delaney is having a great day- loves her presents (thinks Lala is nice cause I let her open a present yesterday and today), received some Care Bears that took her breathe away and she was just having a ball. This is the outfit she wore today- our 4 year old.

Care Bears? Aren't you a lucky girl! I tried to call you yesterday but did not get you! You must have tuckered out! I will see you soon though and bring my gift for you! Love you (and your beautiful pricess sweater)!

Delaney loved all her presents for sure- but believe it or not the one that is favorite right now is a $4.00 nerf basketball net that you hang on the back of a door (remember those Mom & Kevin?). She has been taking on Daddy and learning to dribble! Daddy comes off the stairs and says "Now entering the court is #7- Daddy" and then Delaney trumps him by saying and #1 is Delaney! It is so funny. I think I will use #10- MOMMY! Who says you have to spend a lot of money- anything that involves time with Mom and Dad seems to be her favorite things! Thank you to everyone who sent there gifts (out of towners) and for all who called and signed the website! Delaney was overwhelmed by the end of the day, but it was really appreciated that you took the time to send good wishes. The month-long birthday celebration continues tonight with "High School Musical"- the Play with Ali, Katie and Aunt Mary.
