03/05/2007: "House projects..."

Well it's that time of year again- income tax returns which means house projects and repairs. This year we are having the cottage cheese scrapped off and redone- we are having a bid today. They scrap, sand, refinish and clean up. If it comes in close to the insurance claim to repaint we are going for it. We also hope to get new kitchen counter tops this year.I swear- it never ends!

This may be one of those projects that is a room a year job. Hang in there, by the time you get it all done, it will be time to start at the beginning again. Words of encouragement! Mom

Well- it is an expensive project so it looks like if we want it done it needs to be a "self" project. I have summers off- what the heck!
