H_NewNA (19k image)

At the heart of the Nelson-Atkins’ transformation is the new Bloch Building, a significant work of contemporary architecture by Steven Holl Architects that is woven harmoniously into the surrounding landscape of the Kansas City Sculpture Park.On June 9, 2007, the Nelson-Atkins will unveil a boldly transformed campus, marking a new era of distinction as one of the nation’s premier art museums. More than just a building, the new Nelson-Atkins will be a world-class destination. It will be a source of inspiration, creativity and enjoyment.
Featured Exhibitions
Developing Greatness: The Origins of American Photography, 1839 to 1885
Manet to Matisse: Impressionist Masters from the Marion and Henry Bloch Collection

This is a site to see and a good reason to visit Kansas City!
