07/27/2007: "Roses and Rainbows..."

So here I am, alone again.
Not at all like I thought that it would be,
Guess I lost my way,
Seems like yesterday,
Somebody promised me the sunshine,
Somebody promised me the moon,
Somebody told me there'd be roses and rainbows,
I only hope they'll get here soon.
Seems I've been waiting here forever,
Thinking that love would come for free,

I hope that someone won't be me.

I first heard this song in the 80's in a Walt Disney movie (The Devil and Max Devlin) and I just found out the singer remade the song (I ordered it today). I was even more surprised to find it on YouTube...enjoy!
