08/27/2007: "Bully hummingbird..."

We put up 3 feeders in the front of the house to watch the hummingbirds. One bird will not let any other birds near the feeders. After reading tonight I learned this is "survival" behavior and can not be changed. I moved 2 of the feeders to other areas (3 were in a row and in his line of sight), now they are spread out and hopefully others can enjoy as well. I named him George W!
