I know a lot of people don't like the winter (I do)! I love the change of seasons and I like the holiday season- I hope to enjoy the next few months.

We currently have a new roommate- Linda's sister is very sick so she is staying with us till we get her well and we figure out what is happening with Ralph. He is doing better at the nursing home (oxygen and less smoking, sleeping pills at night). We hope to get Joann in to the doctor tomorrow. She is getting lots of sleep at our house and is eating better. She can not manage at the farm, the house fell through so she will stay with us and we'll take it one day at a time.

I hope it is as good a month as September was. Today, October 1 was a beautiful day. Dad is still playing golf. Nana
