Halloween was a ball! I sat outsie with my aunt drinking wine and giving candy to the kids. They were so cute! My cousins joined us, as well as some neighbors and we sat around the firepit having a blast. Kris and I also brought our new boyfriends, Bones and Scully, pictured above. Gotta love Halloween. Hope yours was safe and enjoyable.

Well I worked which sucked in a way. Kate and Shaun stayed here to hand out candy. Called from work around 7 and she said "too cold outside and our ANNOYING LOUD MOUTH" neighbor was driving them nuts. So yes the two of them set the bowl of candy outside with a note saying "Take on PLEASE!" Gotta love it! I said get out there get the sign of the bowl and hand it out!!! Got home from work at 9 to find an empty bowl so some lucky person in Geneva likes 93 Optical Street!!! Again gotta love it! That was our excitement, Or lack of.....

I was in NYC at a conference. I did go out that night and you would not believe the scene in downtown NYC on Halloween. The streets were packed with people in costume. It was crazy to see.

Well Orchard Street was a ghost street and we barely had but maybe twenty or less kids and also a few teens without costumes or trick or treat bags! (I guess begging for candy is better than getting into trouble or smashing pumpkins.) The funny thing is, i bought a sum total of 3 bags of candy and Ceeb didn't think i had enough and bought three more... We were giving out candy by the handful! No wine drinking (beer either!) I am going to remember that for next year! Way fun!!

That is what we did (well we didn't have the firepit), but Lisa and I sat at the end of the driveway handing out candy (which many people liked because they didn't have to truck all the way up to the house), but what was funny is that all the Dads were taking the kids out this year in my neighborhood and the best part was all of them had a beer in their hand. I went through over 500 pieces of candy- we had well over 100 kids come through. Couldn't beat the weather and the kids had a ball!!
