11/20/2007: "Special Thanks and Moving Update"

I wanted to thank all the people who helped with my move: Kris, Mark, Kevin, my friend Guy, Beth, Matty, and my work collegue Anthony. Without your help I could not have moved easily, and it really helped my parents who helped with the first move (thank you to you too!). With the six of us that were in Richmond we packed the truck in a record 2-2.5 hours! We were psyched! Mark thankfully drove the truck for us, as Kris and I were too nervous to attempt a large beast like that. He did a fine job! Beth also ran and got us lunch from pizza hut while we got the truck, and everyone chipped in for dinner on the way home which certainly helped me after spending so much on the move. Sunday we unloaded and Mark and Matty were a huge help putting together my new bed (pictures to come soon). The guys were beat (us little ladies had to let the men to the heavy lifting), although we were tired too going up one flight of stairs with so many boxes. And I was informed by all that I need a new hobby as all of the boxes labeled "scrap" were very heavy (books, paper, etc.)... Guy suggested collecting feather quills. LOL! I still have a lot of boxes to unpack and the place is somewhat of a disaster, but my parents come Wednesday night to spend Thanksgiving with me and help get things in order.

Once I get everything settled after the holidays, I'll either cook a big meal or take everyone out to thank you all properly. I have already told Kev that I will help him paint when he is ready and offered to help Mark if he ever moves. I have plenty of favors to repay back and I intend to whenever possible, so please do not hesitate to let me know.

I am especially indebted to Aunt Kris and the girls for letting me stay at their house for so long and making me a part of their immediate family! I am thankful for the time I got to spend with you and the girls and hope that we will continue to have our wine and sushi nights from time to time, and maybe a girls sleepover soon. I have the best family in the world and I never once doubted that! Thank you so much for everything!

I don't need a return favor - just go after the life you want and that will make me happiest of - be true to Erin - its a hell of a feeling trust me Love you - we will still have sushi nights!
