12/19/2007: "Blessing..."

carkelly (125k image)

When you go to bed tonight- say a little thank you to God for keeping our families safe. Kelly was in a car accident yesterday. A car backed out of a driveway right into her path. She is ok (a little stiff and sore) but her car is a little messed up... so prayers and well wishes are welcome.

Thank you all. Not something I really needed this close to Christmas. Had to come up with $100 deposit for rental car and now after today if I want my car which is sitting in a garage all parts to fix it sitting there and waiting for a go ahead have to pay a $500 deductible if I want it done. The other insurance company and policy holder that HIT me are playing hard ball and not in the mood. So will pay the deductible, get it fixed and then my insurance company will have to go after them. What is wrong with this whole picture!!! Feeling a little better every day and will probably make an appointment with my Dr for Monday if possible to have my neck xrayed to be on the safe side as really bad headache like before my surgery and the ER didn't xray my neck at the time my lower back was hurting so badly. Anyways puts a new perspective on things for sure. Thanks for your thought.

That's a bummer. Glad you are doing OK- look forward to seeing you next week- take care of yourself!

Glad you are okay! As someone who was just in an accident a year ago, I know how scary it can be. Glad you are okay! La is right, cars can be replaced or eventually fixed (even though it stinks to have to do so). Glad you don't have major injuries! :)

The body was achy yesterday but isn't broken, thank God. She is back to work today. Mom

Glad you are ok - cars can be replaced, harder to heal and replace bodies! Take it easy and know my prayers are with you.
