"Don't let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish
something stand in the way of your doing it.
The time will pass anyway;
we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use."

I need to say it again...WOW!
Sarah went to Keuka to find out what kind of scholarship she had won...drum roll please....
Full tuition scholarship this is SUCH an accomplishment and a deserving reward for a school career filled with hard work and dedication. Sarah we could not be happier for you and know the best is yet to come!

DAMN GIRL! That's the way to do. You got to go to the school you wanted to go to, they pay for it and you get the time of your life! Continue to do well in college- then you will get your pick of schools to teach at! Congratulations that is just terrific and you can get through the rest of the year knowing the tough stuff is behind you. Ali did the same thing last year and she really enjoyed her last semester because she was able to work (took a job at a daycare) and goofed off with her friends!

Your Poppy and I are just thrilled for you and there are not words for how proud we are of you. You have worked hard and now it is paying off. I hope you will enjoy your college experience. We are all behind you and that is a lot of people when you figure in your dad's family and ours! We all love you very much. Nana and Poppy.

Well no one could be more proud of her than her mother and father. She was awarded the George H. Ball Achievement Award
Valued at $24,000 - $50,000 (guaranteed* over four years of undergraduate study). She was awarded with $50,000 the highest scholarship for this award. So this just about takes care of tuition as the tuition alone is $19,960 a year and she recieved $12,500 so close to full tuition. And she still has other scholarships that she has applied for through the school. She also applies for a Pell Grant which is good because that is a grant she won't have to pay back so hopefully one way or another she will get through 4 great years and be the best Teacher in Early Childhood Education! Congratulations Sarah Anne! You worked hard and that says alot about your character and yes hard work does pay off. I love you very much. Your Mom
