02/23/2008: "You are a marvel..."

"Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michaelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel?
You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children."

We do have beautiful people in the family! Kelly, we need more pics of yours b/c we don't see them enough!

Kay, go for a canon rebel. You can get them much cheaper now (under $500 I think). Let us know what you get when you get it. I love that we have a family that loves photography!

Well- we haven't been having any luck with our camera lately, so we will probably be getting a new one, that is why there haven't been a lot of pictures posted from the Carroll house. Lots going on- but haven't been able to get the camera to capture any of it.

Our very own witches and one warlock! What would we do without these beautys. I wish the moms would send more pictures of the great kids we have that are older. I love seeing them too. We are so fortunate to have such beautiful children in our family. I never get tired of looking at them or hearing about them, so keep it coming. Love Mom
