03/16/2008: "We got here..."

After 24 hours in the car & threats of a tornando... this makes it all worth it!
After waiting for the storm to pass, we ventured out to grab a quick bite. We decided to use the list mom & dad sent us. We did not went a big fancy meal so we picked...Joe's hamburger joint. Dad said it was cheap, quick...we sat down and the menu said $ 22-25 per meal. Well there is a Joe's Bar and Grill right next to Joe's hamburger, we apologized and went for our burger...YUM. Next to Walmart for some food. We are now enjoying a cup of coffee with an omlete with asparagus and ham. Then we will head out to the beach. The weather is beautiful, wish you were here!

Looks so restful. You feel like a different person when you are there in the warmth and sunshine. Although we have sunshine today. It feels great. Have a good time and keep us posted. Mom

Take lots of pictures, relax and enjoy the time together! Open up those doors and let the ocean air fill the place... I love the sound of the waves at night that come in. Glad you made it there safely!
