04/27/2008: "What a night..."

We had our Peace Festival...we had bubbles, and tattoos and kites and decorated lightswitchs and the kids drew their peace symbols. My student Kat came and made cotton candy. It was a great event- turned cold so we had to move it inside and it was a very long day but filled with fun. I took 469 pictures and will get more up later.

I wish Delaney's school would adopt this event. I think it is really cool- you should send me the pictures so I can share it with Bernice. Wish the weather would have been better, but glad to see you had a good time. Bet your tired and glad it is over at the same time.

I love this event that you guys put on! It's so cool! I can't wait to see moe of your awesome pictures! And the lightswitch idea was great! So cool to get the kids artwork up around the school! One year I will have to come visit so I can come with you!
