Been very busy here in NC - doing lay offs at Carrier which has been very tough for me because I know all the gory details but cannot speak to anyone about it because I am NOT supposed to know details - unfortunately I am the only one who know how to layout new structure for sales and service anyway that has been difficult. Matty is getting ready for her confirmation and I have made reservations at Phil & Tony's for her celebration dinner on Tuesday - she is excited. Darian is in finals week so far so good has passed everything - has one more exam then she is done with school - phew made it through another year!!! Went with Josh today to get staples and stiches out of his legs. We are slowly applying pressure to stretch his muscles and if we can figure out how to get him upstairs he can finally take a shower. Still has a long haul but I told him at the doctors in this case pain is a very good thing because that means he has nerve endings and his legs are functional - we are almost out of the blot clot worries but he still has tender lungs, spleen and liver. MG just won an order stole it from his old company (Gough) and at a 20% premium so he was high on life - he has gotten some good orders this year so it has helped. Still working on other issues but progressing well - we won't give up. That's it miss everyone.

We have been busy getting the fun stuff for the restaurant. Kim, Dad and I went shopping for the flooring and top of the bar. Today Kim and I are looking for frames. Hey you guys with all the talent, we are still looking for ideas for a sign and menu. A logo. Kris sent some and of course they are great but It would be fun to have other ideas. E mail them to Poppy. He is working so hard but is loving every minute of it. Someone said last week that they didn't understand why he would ever want to do this at his age. They don't know him, do they? He was asked at the dinner Saturday night, Why are you doing this? His reply, "Because I can." I always wonder why my kids are all so unique, well, the apple don't fall far from the tree!!! Mom

Delaney painted a birdhouse with her father this winter and we just got it put up on the back tree in Matthew's garden. I will take a picture. It is so colorful we are not sure that the birds will go into it, but it looks great. Delaney picked out all the colors and Daddy finished it and then sealed it so it would last for a while. I will have to get a picture of Delaney on her new bike. She is really enjoying it and we go for rides together as much as possible.

Not much here... working hard to get new clients at work. I am still training the Monster Mutt as much as I can (we are almost potty trained). He goes to the door when he has to go, but I found that he doesn't get the concept at other people's houses (sorry Aunt Kris). I brought him over to meet Kris, Mark, Dee and Josh (Matty wasn't home). He was a pretty good boy for the most part and enjoyed playing outside off the leash. We sipped a few drinks by a fire outside and caught up. It was great! Other than that, I have been knitting in the few spare moments I get because I have four babies of friends that need gifts.

I feel fine. Nothing keeps me down. We had a $100 dinner fundraiser for the youth basketballl organization on Saturday. We raised $5000. It was a lot of fun. Thanks Nana, Poppy, Kim and Clark for buying a ticket and supporting the program.
