05/27/2008: "Sign Idea for Nana/Poppy"

I kept it pretty simple b/c it will need to be for any embroidery on shirts, etc. Let me know what you like, dislike, and if I'm even heading in the right direction. Any comments appreciated.

There will be awnings but I don't know how costly it would be to personalize it. Boy, is the money going out fast! Great ideas. I agree with Bob, This type of design would look good on shirts. I do like the second one that she designed above. The one with the brick look on the bottom. This is fun getting everyones ideas and thoughts. Keep them coming! Mom

Erin I like this one just take out the Pizzeria I guess if that isn't what they want in the sign.....but it is classy.....and I agree with Bob to have the awnings match. My input for what it matters. But I like it......

I just spoke to Nana earlier and I did not realize that it won't be a pizzeria on the sign, so we are making some modifications and trying to come up with some new ideas. I like the idea of outside matching awnings! That would look great!

You know what might be cool is an awning that is color coordinated with the building that says the Name. Then maybe a neon sign that says pizza. A nostalgic look to bring some oldtime class to the town. Especially if he is going to have any outside seating. Your design would look great on a shirt!
