06/16/2008: "Say a little prayer..."

Buffett got sick this weekend and is currently spending the night at the vets for observation- say a little prayer that she gets better soon and back home with her family that loves her very much!

Thanks for all the concern. Buff is BACK! Back to the point of falling behind on picking up the Poop! Sorry that it took so long to let everyone know, but Lane kept us very busy this weekend.

Buffet came home this afternoon! She is not out of the woods yet, she had an injection and requires oral meds and a special diet for a few days. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, it does help comfort us! Love you all!

OMG! I feel your pain and know how much you care about Buffett. I hope everything goes well and she is okay. Do they know what caused this? I will say my prayers for you all and for the Buff-ster. Dogs are like members of the family and we hurt when they hurt. My thoughts are with you all!

We have been saying many prayers. We know how much she means to your family and we hope she comes home soon. Having owned 3 dogs with various illnesses including cancer- this is hard. They are like our children. We worry, we hurt, we want them to get better! We continue to say our prayers for Buffett and Bob, Kay and Delaney.

The Vet is very concerned. She took x-rays and found enlarged small intestines, filled with gas and a possible blockage. They filled her with Barium, hoping to clean it out a little. It will also allow for better x-rays in the morning. If things still don't look good, they will perform surgery. We are all very depressed and concerned. A major part of our lives is missing!
