07/24/2008: "I've been busy...what about you?"

Well summer vacation is quickly coming to a close, trying to wrap up several projects and classes before I return to my full time job on Aug 5. We have accomplished a lot this summer and feel good about all we did. We know many others have been busy as well...share, we miss hearing from people.

I'm glad that you got so many projects done. Now you can start the year feeling calm and clean! If you were here I could give you lots of projects. We are looking to open on the 15th of August. Just kind of an open house, then open for breakfast and lunch to begin with. Please pray that this cook works out and the food is good. I got two containers of Strawberry daquiri mix, oh, yum. Really looking forward to seeing you both and can't wait for you to see the restaurant and see what you think. If that boy doesn't watch out, the next time Delaney will deck him. I do hope her teeth are all right tho. Mom

Karen you need to make sure you update your list because you have the wrong dates for coming to see us and for Linda's birthday- Yikes! Can't wait to see you and hang out- I smell some nice alcoholic beverages and some serious good times ahead!

Delaney had a nasty Dodgeball accident at school. She put her front teeth into one of the boy's head. It was very scary for her, she was also mad because he didn't say he was sorry! We went to the dentist, we have to keep an eye on one of the teeth that became loose. I told her that next time she needs to use her hip to keep him away, the teacher gave me a funny look! She said it wouldn't happen again. On the soccer note, Kay and I played against her team. One of the little girls kept telling me, "I've got my eye on you!" They are too cute!
