11/20/2008: "Home for Christmas..."

homexmas (153k image)
I'm dreamin' tonight of a place I love
Even more then I usually do
And although I know it's a long road back
I promise you

I'll be home for Christmas
You can count on me
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents under the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light beams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams

I can't wait to see you and it certainly is a treat for the holidays. I'm not sure that I can get my gift out early since most of it is at my mom's and I don't think I can get her to mail it to me... but mine is small and shouldn't be hard to pack at all... keeping it simple, all the way! And nothing breakable either. I can't wait to see you! I just wish Linda could come too!

Well, we sure will have snow, lots of it. I don't know about the mistletoe but we will have good food, good company and no worries. This has made my holidays. Thank you Linda and Karen. Love mom

I am coming home but...please send gifts to Kansas City before December 21.
Why? I will have Christmas with Linda who so graciously suggested I come home for a longer visit, leaving her alone on Christmas.
Why? Because it is a bitch to carry anything on a plane and expensive to check a bag.
Why? It'll be simple- I just want to come home, enjoy the company, take LOTS of pictures and not worry about anything.
