I gave a co-worker a ride home today. She is a woman of color with three grown children, and just moved here a year and a half ago,,, and has an 8 year old....and you know meant the world to help get her son from day care and give her a ride home. OPEN our hearts and souls and so much comes back!

David left for a trip today and won't be back until Sunday, so Christmas decorating... here I come! We installed our new above-stove microwave yesterday and I finished painting the kitchen. I need to touch up some of the trim work and finish the faux finish in the master bath, but other than that I will boogie to my Christmas tunes and kill myself trying to get down the Christmas deckies off our garage ledge/loft thing. I am just excited to get the tree up, decorate the mantle and above the cupboards. We're going to wait to paint the cupboards until after the holidays so we can enjoy. Of course everything is covered in dust AGAIN (it seems it always is with all the projects going on all the time), so I will have some cleaning to do first. Ah, the holidays...

Today I bring 18 students to get new clothing.
Yesterday I finished my last class for the semester.
Tonight-Kris will be here- it's all good!
