12/30/2008: "Three years of growing and now...no more long hair"

locksoflove (133k image)

Well- it's gone! Mailed out to Locks of Love and feels pretty good (I was over long hair- though I will miss it when I wear my ball cap). I am trying a new do- a little longer than I use to wear it- will see how it goes. I am not the only one who got a hair cut, Delaney decided to cut her own hair too. So Lu, this is in memory of you!

I think it is a FANTASTIC do! Looks like it is easy to maintain and very professional, yet can be sassy if you want it to be by curling the ends out. I LOVE IT! And it is so wonderful that you did this for such a wonderful cause. I would do it if I thought I could stand to let my hair get that long but it always drives me crazy and I would have to grow it to my butt to have my hair cut back to where I like it. You did good! I am proud of you!

Feels pretty good- what would make me feel like a new woman is to lose 150 pounds! We are working on it- I wish I liked exercise!

I love it. Kay and I were looking at it together and we both think it is a good cut for you. Just curl it a little each morning. You get used to it. I think you should talk to them about the makeup thing too. You will be a new woman! It really looks good. Mom
