01/04/2009: "What goes up...must come down..."

We spent the day taking down Christmas decorations before it's back to the "normal- everyday" routine.
I love to see all the beautiful decorations- everyone's house looked so nice for the holidays.
Tomorrow- Back to work...

We turned off the outside lights after New Year's, but I have been sick so all my decorations are still up. I plan to take them down this weekend. I love decorating for the holidays, but it is such a pain and so sad when it all comes down.

I've been taking down decorations for four days now and still am not done. I must be crazy to do this every year. I hope I get done before Valentines day. Kim's house looked so nice for Christmas and it was great going over for Christmas Eve. Thanks for doing it and I hope it continues. It is appreciated. Love Mom
