02/05/2009: "Little prayer..."

Well, we all know the economy is not real stable right now with a slow recovery forecasted.
At Christmas we learned Nick was layed off and now I have learned, Beth just received her lay off notice. So say a prayer that these two get a job quickly and that no one else in our family is hit by the bad economy.

Things happen for a reason and you will end up in a better place with a better job down the road... trust me, I know from experience. It's a hard pill to swallow and you feel sucker-punched every time, but you are both good at what you do and you will find your way. We are thinking of you both and hope good firtune is on it's way!

Beth and Nick- this is really unfortunate that this happened. Hopefully there are other options for you both. You are both very resourceful with a lot to offer. I hope other doors will open for you.
