03/23/2009: "Keep them in your prayers..."

Danny, David and Doug lost their mother Joyce Sunday from cancer- keep them in your prayers.

I never really knew them well but my prayers are with them - on a side note but very important to me and my girls -my best friend Beverly's mom passed away this weekend from her stroke. She was older but as a woman (and a man I suppose) you are never ready for your mom to leave - its been tough on her as i am sure it is on these boys.

David called Sunday to tell me about Joyce. I felt bad for the guy. He is a very nice person. I called Jim and he didn't know it. He said he loooks in the obits every day and didn't see it but going to call David and talk to him. They have had a bad winter this year. Jim has had the stomach flu 5 times, Farrah, 3 times, but feeling good now, Boo and Cole have had it several times and Rob too. Cindy only once. That is because she is too ornery. I'm glad Farrah is doing better. Pray for the boys as it is hard for them. Doug is living in Texas now. I did not know that either. Mom
