03/25/2009: "This would be something to see..."

Something has changed within me, Something is not the same
I'm through with playing by the rules Of someone else's game
Too late for second-guessing, Too late to go back to sleep
It's time to trust my instincts, Close my eyes: and leap!

I'm through accepting limits, cause someone says they're so
Some things I cannot change But till I try, I'll never know!
Too long I've been afraid of Losing love I guess I've lost
Well, if that's love It comes at much too high a cost!

As someone told me lately "Everyone deserves the chance to fly!"
And if I'm flying solo, At least I'm flying free
To those who'd ground me Take a message back from me
Tell them how I am Defying gravity
I'm flying high Defying gravity

I just found out that my scrapbooking friend Theresa is going to NY city in May and she's going to see it! I'm so jealous! I hear the Little Mermaid is supposed to be amazing too... even better than Lion King I was told which really surprised me because Lion King was AMAZING.

I can't wait to see this but it doesn't come back to Charlotte until 2010 around the time of mine and Kris's birthdays... we will have to treat ourselves because I have been dying to see this ever since it came out. My mom and I tried to go a couple of years ago in NYC but we were only there one night and didn't have time (or the money... tickets were $150! each).

Delaney is proud of you - you found www.wickedthemusical.com These are the videos we watched and she loves them! Too funny listening to her telling you how to find these! These guys were great. Idina Menzel was in Enchanted - so Delaney got to see her in that and I explained that she was Elphaba in Wicked. She is so up on her Theater and she just loves it all!

I love Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth. I like this song too- makes sense to me!
