05/10/2009: "Happy Mother's Day..."

I want to celebrate all the moms out there who do such and amazing job and work so hard for their families and their children and love them with all of their hearts...
i celebrate our new mommas who have waited so long for this day...
i celebrate all kinds of moms ~ whether your mothering is in how you care for others,
or for your pets, your garden, strangers, nieces, nephews...
you are so needed and so valued and your role is an essential part of the healing our world needs.

but i also want to acknowledge that this weekend can be a hard one for so many.
for the ones who have lost a child.
for the ones who have lost their mom.
for the one who is trying to heal her relationship with their mom or their own children.
for me this weekend i will celebrate with all of you who are celebrating but
i will also be thinking of all the ones who are struggling as well.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Kay & Delaney celebrated together and had lunch with Nana...hope everyone gets to spend time with people they love...

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms, and to my own Mom. It was nice to have a quiet dinner with Mom, Dad, Ken, Sue and kids. (Great ribs!!) I missed everyone who was not able to be there. Kelly, Kris. Kay... hope you all had a wonderful day.

Happy Mom's Day all!!! We didn't have our moms here to celebrate with, but we talked to them... my mom and I will celebrate with Starbucks when she comes to visit later this month. Hope the day was enjoyed by all! I celebrated being a mom to Brenner and Tali by doing yard work all day... lol! Hope everyone else relaxed a bit!

Well, I had a good Mother's day. Heard from all my children. Had a great day at the restaurant. Ken ordered 7 dozen carnations to give to Mother's this weekend and we ran out! I hope everyone had a good day too. Love Mom
