06/30/2009: "Relay for Life"

Hi everyone! I am walking in the Relay for Life Cancer walk in Clyde on July 17th and was wondering if anyone would like to contribute toward the cause. The event is taking place at the end of Orchard Street and I am very excited to be able to participate. Nana has the hook ups to purchase luminary candles in remebrance of a friend /loved one. They may be purchased for $5. It is happening on the 17th so if you are interested i would appreciate hearing from you by then. Thanks so much for anything! Love to all!
Edited:Mom told me the final numbers are not in but so far Clyde's Relay has raised over 27,000!

Sue- I talked to mom and gave my names for my luminaries so they could get made. I just mailed a check to her for those and for your team.

Actually, we need to get the luminaries in this next week as they have to make them up so they are ready to go on the 17th.If anyone wants to be a donor for Sue's team let her know what your want to donate to support her. The luminaries are extra parts to get extra monies. If anyone can come and walk, call Sue as this go on for 12 hours and she will need walkers. Thanks Mom

We purchased 2 luminaries when we were down for Father's Day. Have a great time- these are always fun (and hopefully it will stop raining!)
